Job Opportunity in Maritime Sector

The Government of Pakistan is seeking a qualified, energetic, and motivated professional for the post of Chairman, Karachi Port Trust. This position is crucial for implementing the organization's mandate as laid down in the KPT Act.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement organizational mandate as per the KPT Act, 1886.
  • Foster strategic partnerships to drive growth and development.
Eligibility CriteriaEducational Qualification:
  • A Master's Degree from an HEC-recognized university in one of the following fields: Management, Administrative Sciences, Social Sciences, Natural Sciences, Engineering, Information Technology, or MBA/MPA.
Work Experience:
  • A minimum of 9 years of post-qualification experience at an executive level in administration, management, or project development in a reputable public or private organization.
  • At least 5 years in a senior management position.
  • Experience in port management is preferred.
Remuneration Package
  • Salary equivalent to Management Pay Scale.
  • Other facilities as per provisions of the KPT Act, 1886.
Nationality:

The Chairman will be required to perform duties and functions as assigned under the KPT Act.
