Sr. Software Engineer - Cloud Computing Expertise

About the Role

We're seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our team. As a member of our team, you will take on complex and impactful technical challenges, contributing to the design, development, and optimization of the systems that power our cloud computing platform.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Designing, developing, and scaling backend systems and services that are integral to our platform's success.
  • Leading the implementation of new features and improvements, ensuring high performance, security, and scalability.
  • Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to define technical solutions that enhance the developer experience for our users.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A solid understanding of building and maintaining distributed systems.
  • Experience with resilience engineering, fault tolerance, and failure domains as they relate to database backends.
  • Strong spoken and written technical capabilities in developing and maintaining software.
  • Proficiency in developing APIs with Golang.
  • Experience with concurrency patterns in Golang.
  • Working knowledge of microservices using container workload engines and frameworks such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and frameworks.
  • A strong background and exposure to different databases.
  • Familiarity with prevalent message bus and queuing technologies.
