Our organization seeks a seasoned IT Governance expert to lead the development and implementation of our IT governance framework, ensuring alignment with industry standards and regulations.

About the Role

This is a strategic position involving the creation and execution of IT strategies, risk management, and the implementation of security policies that protect data and systems.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement comprehensive IT governance frameworks to align with organizational objectives and compliance requirements.
  • Lead and mentor a team of professionals, fostering a collaborative environment focused on IT governance and compliance.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and ensure adherence to security policies and data privacy regulations.
  • Collaborate with other departments to integrate IT governance processes across the organization, ensuring a unified approach.
  • Oversee the implementation and management of risk management software and compliance management software to enhance governance capabilities.
  • Design and deliver training programs for staff on IT governance principles, risk management practices, and compliance requirements.
  • Assess and review existing IT strategies and policies, recommending updates and improvements to meet evolving compliance and security trends.
  • Engage with stakeholders to provide guidance on IT governance issues, ensuring all initiatives are in line with the organization's mission and objectives.
  • Monitor industry trends and changes in legislation to ensure the organization's IT governance frameworks remain current and effective.
  • Prepare regular reports for senior management highlighting compliance status, risk assessments, and governance activities.
