About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Market Research and Partnerships Officer to join our organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting market research to identify sectors with potential collaboration opportunities.

Main Responsibilities

  • To conduct market research to identify sectors with potential collaboration opportunities.
  • To seek knowledge exchange funding and other sources of funding for ETB programs to enable further work and development of current research and establishment of long-term knowledge-based relationships.
  • To develop multidisciplinary opportunities and alliances in partnership with public, private, and third-sector partners.
  • To support academics in obtaining collaborative projects and industry-linked studentships, especially making use of ETB resources and strengths through Knowledge Exchange Funding and Partnerships programmes.
  • To coordinate and facilitate seminars and workshops, training programs.
  • To generate revenue by planning and coordinating workshops/professional trainings.

Key Skills and Qualifications

  • Degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
  • Proven managerial and communication skills, and resource mobilization for organizations.
  • Excellent IT skills, including MS Office and databases, including MS Project.
  • Knowledge of current trends, branding, and merchandising.
  • Strong education and training acumen.
  • An in-depth understanding of business opportunities associated with the higher education sector.

Requirements

  • Excellent communication and administrative skills.
  • Able to cope with a tough schedule under pressure and multitask in a dynamic environment.
  • Willingness to tackle everything from simple to complex tasks.
  • Management of staff and students.
  • Competency in using Microsoft Office.
