Job Title: Planning and Scheduling Expert

About the Role:

This is a specialized position that requires strong analytical and organizational skills. As a Planning and Scheduling Expert, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing all project planning, monitoring, and production control related to client projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop a thorough understanding of cost control, planning/scheduling, and estimating principles.
  • Understand the relationships between project controls functions - estimating, planning/scheduling, cost control, and risk management.
  • Define and identify schedule classifications and levels.
  • Coordinate project planning, monitoring, and production control activities with clients.
  • Assist in developing project work plans and schedules that support project/business group work processes and milestones.
  • Establish Project Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), Project Control Strategy, Master Schedule, and Action Plan for Planning Deliverables issuance.
  • Prepare and adopt necessary tools/methods to effectively monitor and control project progress, schedule, and resources.
  • Review and evaluate planning and scheduling information collected from the project team or contractors.
  • Create client and internal status reports that effectively communicate project status and trends.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in large-scale construction projects.
  • Excellent knowledge and skills in Primavera 6, and some knowledge in any other equivalent Schedule Risk Analysis software.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate complex project controls information to team members.
