About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Freelance Platform Growth Expert to join our team. As a key member of our freelance operations team, you will be responsible for driving growth, managing client relationships, and leading a team of freelance operations professionals.
Main Responsibilities:
- Apply for jobs on freelance platforms, close deals, and lead the team to achieve exceptional results.
- Manage company profiles across multiple platforms, staying updated on policies, trends, and high-demand services.
- Develop and implement strategies to expand client acquisition and retention.
Leadership and Team Development:
- Lead and mentor the freelance operations team, providing hands-on guidance and best practices.
- Motivate the team to meet deadlines, exceed targets, and maintain a client-first approach.
- Recommend process improvements for enhanced productivity and efficiency.
Client Relationships and Communication:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring seamless communication and resolving issues proactively.
- Build long-term relationships with clients, driving repeat business and referrals.
- Maintain a strong customer-first attitude while delivering quality solutions.
Performance Monitoring and Strategy:
- Analyze platform performance data to identify trends, measure success, and refine strategies.
- Track team performance and provide actionable insights for improvement.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, Sales, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in sales or business development, with at least 3 years focusing on freelance platform operations.
- Demonstrated success in applying for and winning high-value projects on platforms like Upwork, Fiverr, Freelancer, and Toptal.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to craft persuasive proposals.
- Strong leadership qualities with a hands-on approach to achieving results.
- Flexible and adaptable to shifting priorities and work hours.
- Proficiency in CRM tools and data-driven decision-making.
