Internal Audit Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Internal Audit Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our audit function, you will be responsible for:

  • Assisting in the development and execution of comprehensive audit plans to identify potential risks and areas for improvement;
  • Conducting audits of organizational and sub-recipients, including CoPc+ sites and ART Adherence Units, to ensure compliance with laws and regulations;
  • Evaluating the efficiency and effectiveness of existing policies and procedures, and making recommendations for improvements;
  • Providing support to staff on internal auditing principles, techniques, and methodologies;

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify risks and provide recommendations;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with stakeholders at all levels;
  • Ability to prepare comprehensive audit reports and communicate findings to senior management and the board;
