Customer Retention Strategist

The Customer Retention Strategist will lead the strategy, development, and execution of initiatives designed to enhance customer satisfaction, drive persistency in premiums, and reduce policy lapses.

This role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure long-term customer loyalty, resulting in improved business performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategies to improve customer retention rates.
  • Work closely with Sales, Claims, Customer Service, and Actuarial teams to drive persistency in premiums.
  • Analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement in customer retention and persistency.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement effective retention strategies.
  • Provide guidance and support to team members to achieve their goals.

Requirements:

A minimum of 8-10 years of experience in the life insurance industry, with at least 5 years in a Supervisory/Managerial role focused on customer retention or persistency management.

Bachelor's/Master's degree along with certification in insurance (an added advantage).

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills are required to succeed in this role.
