Job Summary:

  • Lead a team of skilled welders in a fast-paced fabrication workshop to achieve excellence in every weld.
  • Maintain the highest quality and integrity of welding operations, supporting major projects by enforcing strict safety protocols and adhering to industry standards.

About the Role:

As a technically sound and hands-on Welding Operations Manager, you will be responsible for supervising daily activities, ensuring efficient use of resources, training and mentoring welders, conducting regular inspections, collaborating with the Quality Control department, managing supplies effectively, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Supervise daily activities and ensure that all tasks are completed on time and within budget.

  2. Train and mentor welders to improve their skills and performance, promoting a culture of continuous learning.

  3. Conduct regular inspections to ensure adherence to quality and safety standards, making recommendations for process improvements as needed.

  4. Collaborate with the Quality Control department to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.

  5. Manage supplies effectively, minimizing waste and optimizing resource allocation.

  6. Foster a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging open communication and constructive feedback among team members.
