Quality Assurance Professional Role

The goal of this position is to ensure the delivery of high-quality, reliable, and user-friendly software products.

This role involves planning, designing, and executing test cases to validate software functionality, performance, and usability, while identifying bugs and inconsistencies early in the development lifecycle.

As a Quality Assurance professional, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to uphold excellence in software solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with developers, product managers, and designers to understand functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Develop and maintain detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.
  • Execute test cases manually across different platforms including web and mobile applications.
  • Perform functional, regression, integration, smoke, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Log detailed bug reports and track issues through resolution, ensuring complete visibility for the team.
  • Ensure a zero critical-bug escape rate post-deployment by thoroughly validating new features and fixes.
  • Work closely with the development team to reproduce and debug issues, ensuring prompt resolution.
  • Participate in root cause analysis to identify patterns and implement process improvements.
  • Actively participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
  • Communicate progress, blockers, and test outcomes clearly to relevant stakeholders.
  • Maintain open and responsive communication across teams, fostering a collaborative environment.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
  • Number of critical bugs reported post-release.
  • Test case coverage for new features and regression scenarios.
  • Timeliness and clarity in bug reporting and communication.
  • Responsiveness to team collaboration and feedback.
