Senior Medical Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Medical Manager to oversee medical staff within the region. The ideal candidate will have at least 9 years of experience in the field, preferably with MCPS qualifications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Medical Staff Management: Manage and supervise medical professionals, including physicians and nurses, to ensure high-quality patient care.
  • Policy Implementation: Develop and implement medical policies and procedures for the region, ensuring compliance with relevant rules and regulations.
  • Medical Treatment Coordination: Ensure timely and appropriate medical treatment for employees, including coordinating care with healthcare providers and managing medical records.
  • Collaboration and Coordination: Work with other departments to develop and implement wellness programs and health education initiatives that promote employee health and wellness.
  • Quality Monitoring: Evaluate the quality of medical services provided within the region, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
  • Vendor Management: Manage relationships with external healthcare providers and vendors, ensuring compliance with service level agreements and contractual obligations.
  • Reporting and Presentations: Prepare reports and presentations on medical activities and outcomes for senior management and stakeholders.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with relevant rules, regulations, and industry standards related to medical operations and employee health, as well as identify and assess risks under management/ownership.
  • Medicine Delivery System: Review monthly reports of chemists and propose measures for a fool-proof system of medicine delivery through chemists.
  • Risk Response Strategies: Develop and implement risk response strategies for identified risks, monitor risks, and ensure the accuracy and timeliness of information provided for risk reporting.
  • HSEQ Implementation: Implement company standards and practices of Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality (HSEQ) to ensure the safety and well-being of employees and the protection of the work environment.
