Nutrition and Food Services Inventory Specialist

The Nutrition and Food Services Department is a key part of our healthcare institution, providing quality products and services to students, faculty, staff, patients, and their attendants.
We are looking for a dedicated individual to maintain store documentation effectively, ensure safety of store and store keys, and issue and receive store commodities. The successful candidate will also be responsible for accuracy of postings and entries in receiving register/computer, carry out routine cleaning of dry store, walk-ins, and beverage storage areas, and monitor refrigerator/freezer temperatures daily as per system.
Responsibilities include:
- Maintain accurate inventory records on computerized system and receiving register
- Examine quality and quantity of incoming and outgoing commodities
- Assist monthly stock check/inventories as per routine system
- Take physical inventories of all items in the store
The ideal candidate will have relevant work experience and knowledge of inventory principles, food commodities, handling challans/requisitions, food costing, and analysis. Proficiency in computer software/programs is also essential.
