Job Title: Nutrition and Food Services AssistantAbout the Role

We are seeking a skilled Nutrition and Food Services Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining store documentation, ensuring store safety, and performing routine cleaning tasks.

You will also be responsible for issuing and receiving commodities, ensuring proper rotation according to system, and monitoring refrigerator/freezer temperatures daily.

In addition, you will examine quality and quantity of incoming products, post accurate records of in-coming and out-going commodities on computerized inventory system and receiving register, and record walk-in refrigerators, freezers temperatures daily.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain store documentation effectively and ensure store safety.
  • Issue and receive commodities, ensuring proper rotation according to system.
  • Examine quality and quantity of incoming products.
  • Post accurate records of in-coming and out-going commodities on computerized inventory system and receiving register.
  • Record walk-in refrigerators, freezers temperatures daily.
  • Perform routine cleaning of dry store, walk-ins, and beverage storage areas.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1-2 years of experience in food services or related field preferred.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks.
