Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled IT and Information Security professional to support our organization's network segments, Internet, and intranet systems. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Computers or Electronics from a recognized institution and at least 5 years of experience in the field.
Key Responsibilities:- Network Support
Support and maintain network segments, Internet, and intranet systems to ensure seamless communication and data exchange.
IT Security Best PracticesImplement and enforce best practices for new and existing IT security solutions to protect against potential threats and vulnerabilities.
Security Awareness TrainingConduct regular training sessions to educate employees on security best practices, ensuring they understand their role in maintaining a secure environment.
Incident Response PlanningDevelop and implement incident response plans to promptly address security breaches and minimize their impact.
Policies and ComplianceEnsure that security policies are up-to-date and compliant with industry regulations, protecting the organization from potential fines and reputational damage.
Security Controls EvaluationEvaluate the effectiveness of existing security controls and recommend improvements to enhance overall security posture.
Technical DocumentationPrepare and maintain accurate technical documentation and standard operating procedures to facilitate efficient operations and knowledge sharing.
Security Infrastructure ManagementImplement and manage firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, internet gateways, and other security infrastructure to safeguard the organization's digital assets.
Security MonitoringMonitor network traffic for unusual activity and respond to security incidents in a timely manner to prevent further damage.
New Security SolutionsEvaluate and recommend new security solutions to enhance the organization's security posture and stay ahead of emerging threats.
Collaboration and ReportingWork closely with IT teams, management, and stakeholders to integrate security measures into the organization's infrastructure and projects, providing regular updates on security status and progress.
Auditor CollaborationCollaborate with internal and external auditors to address security findings and recommendations, ensuring continuous improvement and compliance.
