Internship Opportunity in Actuarial Science

We are excited to launch our 3-month internship program for aspiring professionals looking to build a career in actuarial science, analytics, and research. The internship offers hands-on experience with real consulting projects.

Program Overview

The internship is designed to provide students with the opportunity to gain practical experience in the field of actuarial science. Our Karachi office supports consulting projects across the Middle East and GCC regions.

Job Responsibilities

Assisting with research and marketing projects in Property & Casualty is one of the key tasks. Interns will also be responsible for assisting with regular reserving and pricing projects. Additionally, they will understand, operate, and modify complex spreadsheet tools, present results to peers, project managers, and client relationship managers, draft written reports, and prepare other external/internal correspondence.

Qualifications

To be eligible for this internship, applicants must be final-year undergraduate or postgraduate students majoring in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Insurance, or related disciplines. They should have strong communication (written and oral), and organizational skills. Proficiency with spreadsheets and database applications (Microsoft Office products) is also required. Strong quantitative and analytical skills, client-focused approach, results-driven attitude, and detail-oriented nature are highly valued. Good organizational skills and willingness to learn are essential. Ability to work independently and in a team environment, as well as under pressure, are also important qualities.
