Telecom Network Support Specialist

This is a critical role for a skilled professional to join our team as a Telecom Network Support Specialist. As a key member of the support team, you will be responsible for providing technical service and support to customers in ensuring the stability and optimization of their networks.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in telecom and datacom, with expertise in hardware, software, and network knowledge. You will work collaboratively with various teams, including customer technical staff, operation managers, service engineers, and other groups within the organization.

This role requires a high level of flexibility, with a broad range of responsibilities and the ability to adapt quickly to changing situations. You will be expected to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, configure and integrate different nodes and solutions, and provide guidance and support to customers and colleagues alike.

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in an international environment. You should also be self-motivated and able to take ownership of your work, with a strong focus on delivering results and meeting customer expectations.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide dedicated 24x7 support to customers based on a roster system.
  • Lead and resolve technical issues, conducting root cause analysis and implementing effective solutions.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge management systems to ensure seamless access to critical information.
  • Manage software updates and configurations, ensuring the optimal performance of Ericsson Core nodes.
  • Drive CSR review meetings with SDM to discuss customer satisfaction and quality standards.
  • Perform regular preventive maintenance to identify potential issues before they become major problems.

Your Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in a similar role.
  • Detailed knowledge of CS Core domains, including CSCF, MTAS, SBG/BGF, MSC-S, M-MGW, STP/IP-STP, UDM domain CUDB, HSS-FE, HLR-FE, EIR-FE, and mobile call flows and protocols.
  • Familiarity with MAP, SCCP, SIP, Diameter, and LDAP protocols, as well as IMS/VoLTE call flows, SRVCC, and CS Fallback procedures.
  • Understanding of Cloud/Virtualization concepts and VNF/CNF Management.
  • Excellent teamwork, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Able to work independently and take ownership of tasks and projects.
