Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned professional to assume the role of Credit Risk Strategist.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Monitor portfolio performance where Automated and Assisted Decisioning (AAD) is utilised, ensuring alignment with organisational expectations.
  2. Review First Line of Defence sampling to validate AAD usage and decision-making consistency.
  3. Collaborate with stakeholders to refine risk reporting procedures, empowering relationship managers to effectively manage credit risk within their areas of responsibility.
  4. Continuously assess operational risks inherent in Credit Risk, considering economic or market conditions, regulatory requirements, operating procedures, management restructuring, and technological advancements.
  5. Maintain adherence to internal controls as stipulated in policy (refer to the AAD policy).
  6. Provide timely and informative reports to relevant RMMs and stakeholders on segment performance, leveraging data to optimise credit management processes where AAD is employed.
  7. Ensure compliance with AAD procedures and report non-compliance to local line management as necessary.
  8. Engage with key stakeholders, including leadership teams and Group Risk Analytics (GRA), regarding automated and assisted decisioning initiatives.
