Patient Safety Specialist

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as a Quality and Patient Safety Outreach Services Coordinator. This role involves enhancing patient care through various outreach services, including clinical laboratories, outpatient medical centers, pharmacy services, home health, and more.
The successful candidate will be responsible for collecting data related to quality and patient safety activities at our medical centers and home health services.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in operational planning of quality assurance programs, systems, and processes.
- Liaise between departments to ensure seamless coordination and communication.
- Develop and maintain clinical indicators for quality improvement initiatives.
- Analyze and interpret data to inform quality improvement decisions.
- Conduct internal and external audits to identify areas for improvement.
- Implement best practices for resource utilization and efficiency.
- Review and update quality documents and content regularly.
- Provide training and development opportunities for employees.
- Foster a culture of quality and patient safety throughout the organization.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BScN) from an accredited institution.
- Prior experience in a similar role or relevant field.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Able to work efficiently with current and emerging technologies.
