Sales Marketing Manager Job Description

The ideal candidate will be capable of creating effective marketing strategies that assist the efforts of sales teams and generate additional leads. This candidate should be comfortable creating content to aid the sales teams and have an ability to evaluate a marketing campaign to guarantee the best outcome. Additionally, this candidate should have a good understanding of the goals of various salespeople and ultimately operate as a close business partner.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Market Research and Analysis: Conduct market research to gather competitive intelligence and stay up-to-date with industry trends.
  2. Marketing Campaign Execution: Develop and execute marketing campaigns to identify target audiences and generate business leads.
  3. Marketing Strategy Evaluation: Evaluate marketing strategies to ensure optimal cost and results, presenting data-driven reports.
  4. Client Interaction and Communication: Handle initial client interactions, provide detailed information about our services, and assist in setting up meetings.
  5. Business Development and Growth: Prepare fee quotations and acquire business contacts and references.
  6. Smooth Client Communication: Coordinate with clients to ensure smooth communication and follow-ups for successful business generation.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  1. Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  2. Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  3. Marketing Software Familiarity: Familiarity with marketing and CRM software (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar).
  4. Digital Marketing Tools: Knowledge of digital marketing tools (Google Analytics, SEO tools, and social media management platforms like Hootsuite or Buffer).
  5. Company-Specific Software: Ability to use company-specific software for managing data, tracking campaigns, and generating reports.
  6. Virtual Meeting Tools: Comfort with using tools for virtual meetings, such as Zoom, Microsoft Teams, or similar platforms.
  7. Professional Skills: Proven experience in marketing, sales, or related fields.
  8. Creative and Analytical Abilities: Strong creative, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
  9. Communication and Organization: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  10. Team Player: Team player with an understanding of sales and marketing alignment.
