Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced and skilled Preparation Technician to join our team in a cotton spinning mill.

  • Job Title: Preparation Technician - Cotton Spinning Mills

We are looking for someone with a strong background in mechanical maintenance, who is able to supervise and manage the upkeep of preparation machines. This role will involve leading a team of mechanics to implement preventive and corrective maintenance plans, ensuring that all equipment is running at optimal levels and meeting quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate mechanical maintenance activities to ensure smooth production operation
  • Monitor machine performance, identify potential issues and develop solutions
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, machine history and spare parts inventory
  • Develop and implement effective maintenance strategies to minimize downtime and improve overall efficiency
  • Lead and train maintenance technicians to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively
  • Collaborate with production supervisors to optimize production schedules and minimize disruptions

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering, or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of experience as a maintenance supervisor in a spinning mill
  • Strong knowledge of Rieter preparatory machine maintenance
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to lead and train a team of maintenance technicians
