We are seeking a skilled and proactive Data Engineer with 3–5 years of hands-on experience to join our team. This is a full-time permanent position based on-site at client's location in Islamabad & Karachi.

This role is ideal for someone with solid hands-on expertise in Python, Teradata, Informatica, SQL and Data Warehousing along with working knowledge of modern BI tools. You will be responsible for building, optimizing and maintaining data pipelines and data models that power analytics across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, build and maintain efficient and scalable ELT pipelines using Python (PySpark).
  • Develop and optimize data models using Informatica and Teradata to support analytics and reporting needs.
  • Collaborate with analysts and business stakeholders to deliver clean, reliable datasets for BI dashboards.
  • Integrate data from various sources to support reporting and analytics in Power BI and Tableau.
  • Monitor data pipeline performance, ensure data quality and proactively troubleshoot issues.
  • Implement best practices in data modeling, transformation logic and documentation.
  • Work closely with business analysts, data scientists and BI teams to ensure smooth data availability and usability.
  • Ensure data quality, performance tuning and consistency to industry best practices.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of hands-on experience as a Data Engineer.
  • Proficiency in Python (PySpark/Pandas), Informatica, and Teradata for data processing and managing ETL pipelines.
  • Strong SQL skills and familiarity with large-scale data environments.
  • Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts, including performance tuning, schema design, and logical/physical/semantic data modeling.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
