Job Title: Urban Area Manager

Muller & Phipps Pakistan (Pvt.) Limited is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Urban Area Manager to lead its Telecommunication division in Faisalabad.

About the Role:
  • This key position involves developing and executing sales strategies to drive growth and expansion for our Principal business.
  • The successful candidate will collaborate with our Business Unit Head to create regional coverage plans, ensuring high-quality service and adequate sales force coverage.
  • A strong understanding of market dynamics and business trends is essential, focusing on various Principals' products distributed by us.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and execute sales plans to achieve profit growth and expansion goals for our Principal business.
  2. Collaborate with the BUH to design regional coverage plans, guaranteeing top-notch service and sufficient sales force presence.
  3. Analyze market conditions and business trends, concentrating on diverse Principals' products distributed by us.
  4. Evaluate sales performance across various markets in the region.
  5. Review market visit schedules and provide necessary guidance to the sales team.
  6. Conduct regular sales meetings to assess sales plans and operational issues with Sales Officers.
  7. Visit the marketplace to monitor sales team work ethics, service standards, product availability, market development, and other factors regularly.
  8. Guide the sales team on replacement-related matters, credit policy, and effective implementation.
  9. Gather, analyze, and compile market intelligence on promotional activities, prices, coverage, credits, new launches, and competition, assessing their impact on business outcomes.
  10. Ensure timely order delivery to the marketplace through the sales team.
  11. Enforce timely collection and recovery of payments according to Standard Operating Procedures.
  12. Identify emerging market opportunities by visiting potential markets.
  13. Coach and counsel the sales team on company service quality standards, ensuring effective implementation at all times.
Requirements:
  • A graduate degree, preferably a master's, with 3-5 years of sales experience in the mobile handset industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
