About the Opportunity

  • Drive strategic business growth through in-depth performance analysis and data-driven decision-making.

  • Maintain confidentiality and discretion in high-priority matters, ensuring clarity and strategic alignment in all communications.
  • Lead the local market's data management function, liaising with regional analytics teams for effective data support and management of BI tools.
  • Identify data visibility gaps for different functions and their respective analytics teams, driving performance optimization.

Responsibilities:

  • 5+ years of experience as a Senior Business Analyst, preferably within a strategic central function.
  • A Bachelor's degree (minimum) or Master's degree (preferred) in a quantitative discipline such as Computer Science, Management Science, or Economics.
  • Proven expertise in SQL and experience designing scalable, efficient queries for data-driven decision-making.
  • Strong leadership skills in managing the entire data analysis lifecycle, including problem formulation, data auditing, rigorous analysis, interpretation, actionable recommendations, and stakeholder-ready presentations.
  • Excellent communication skills, able to distill complex data into clear insights and effectively communicate to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to craft compelling business cases supported by data, with a deep understanding of statistical and mathematical modeling.
  • Understanding of creating data visualization reports using modern BI tools like Tableau or Looker Studio.
  • A track record of mentoring and developing analytical teams, fostering innovation and aligning team outputs with organizational objectives.
  • Experience working with cloud-based platforms like BigQuery and Google Cloud Platform is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in Python for reproducible data analysis and familiarity with advanced analytics workflows.
  • Hands-on experience with version control systems like Git to enable collaborative development and reproducibility.
  • Experience in data engineering, including building and maintaining data pipelines using tools like Airflow, is a significant plus.
