Backend Software Engineer

As a key member of our engineering team, you'll play a crucial role in shaping the future of software solutions.

Our ideal candidate has expertise in backend technologies, distributed systems, and cloud platforms. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and document scalable solutions that drive growth.

Responsibilities:

  1. Design and document scalable solutions with cross-functional teams.
  2. Write secure, maintainable code that powers real-time visibility into company assets.
  3. Make scalable design choices for API interfaces across internal and external applications and services.
  4. Implement monitoring, logging, and debugging for system health.
  5. Work actively on AWS cloud infrastructure.
  6. Mentor and learn from developers within the organization.

Qualifications:

  1. B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science or related field.
  2. 4+ years software development experience.
  3. Expertise in creating extensible, performant, and readable software.
  4. Experience building product infrastructure, distributed systems, and data models.
  5. Proficiency in Ruby on Rails, Go Lang, Java, or similar languages.
  6. Solid understanding of relational databases, preferably Postgres or MySQL.
  7. Experience building for Cloud Infrastructure such as AWS, GCP, Azure, or private clouds.
