Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Server Administrator to join our team. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our server infrastructure.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Cloud Infrastructure Management:
    • Manage instances, storage, and network configurations to ensure optimal performance and security.
    • Implement cost-optimization strategies to minimize expenses while maintaining high-quality services.
    • Oversee services such as EKS, AKS, etc., to ensure seamless integration with on-premises environments.
  • On-Premises Infrastructure Management:
    • Monitor and manage VMware environments, including VM provisioning, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
  • Windows Server Administration:
    • Administer Active Directory, ADFS, DNS, Group Policies, and user account management to ensure secure access and efficient resource allocation.
    • Ensure periodic system updates and patch management to maintain a secure environment.
  • Linux Server Administration:
    • Implement centralized user management and routine tasks such as updates, log analysis, service management, and troubleshooting to optimize server efficiency.
  • Virtual Machine Management:
    • Provision, configure, and maintain virtual environments to support business growth and scalability.
  • Client Support:
    • Respond promptly to client issues and resolve them efficiently to ensure uninterrupted service delivery.
  • Migration Support:
    • Plan and execute system and data migrations with minimal downtime and risk to ensure seamless transitions.
  • SSL and DNS Management:
    • Manage SSL certificates and DNS configurations to ensure secure and reliable connections.
  • DevOps-Related Tasks and Research:
    • Support initial DevOps activities such as CI/CD implementation, infrastructure automation, and deployment pipelines to enhance operational efficiency.
    • Conduct research to build a strong foundation for our DevOps team.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • 2+ years relevant experience
  • Experience in centralized user management, routine tasks such as updates, log analysis, service management, and troubleshooting
  • Experience managing Active Directory, ADFS, DNS, Group Policies, and user accounts
