About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Data Collector to join our team in the Department of Community Health Sciences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct participant screening and recruitment to ensure accurate data collection.
  • Administer structured surveys and questionnaires to gather quantitative and qualitative data.
  • Collect, record, and verify the accuracy of data to meet research protocol standards.
  • Transcribe qualitative interviews while maintaining participant confidentiality.
  • Organise and document study materials and field notes for easy access.
  • Coordinate with participants to schedule interviews and manage appointments efficiently.
  • Ensure strict adherence to research protocols and ethical standards during all data collection activities.
Requirements
  • Intermediate education from a recognized board.
  • At least one year of experience in community-based data collection.
  • Strong understanding of field research protocols, including participant consent and ethical guidelines.
  • Proficiency in using digital tools and data entry platforms; experience with REDCap is highly preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with diverse community members.
  • Fluency in Sindhi is essential for effective communication.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and local languages such as Urdu and Sindhi.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organisational and time-management skills to meet deadlines.
  • Self-motivated, organised, and able to work independently as well as collaboratively within diverse teams.
  • Willingness to travel regularly to field sites and adapt to changing project needs.
