We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our data infrastructure team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining data pipelines that support our business operations.

Your role will involve working closely with data scientists to deploy, monitor, and retrain machine learning models using AWS SageMaker Pipelines. You will also be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and security of our data lakehouse.

To achieve this, you will develop and operate ETL/ELT pipelines using AWS Glue, Lambda, Athena, and Step Functions. You will also collaborate with other teams to understand operational needs and develop technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Data Infrastructure Development: Design and implement scalable data pipelines using AWS services.
  • Data Lakehouse Management: Ensure the structure, security, and accessibility of our data lakehouse.
  • MLOps Lifecycle Support: Collaborate with data scientists to deploy, monitor, and retrain machine learning models.
  • Precision & Integrity: Monitor pipeline outputs and data quality dashboards to ensure accurate and reproducible data.
  • Automation, Audit & Security: Implement logging, versioning, and encryption best practices using infrastructure-as-code tools like Pulumi or Terraform.

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of experience in data engineering or cloud data architecture roles.
  • Solid experience with AWS data stack: S3, Glue, Athena, Lambda, Step Functions.
  • Proficiency in SQL, Python, and PySpark.
  • Experience with data lake architecture and handling semi-structured data (Parquet, JSON).
  • Exposure to MLOps, model deployment pipelines, and monitoring.
  • Knowledge of secure data handling and anonymization best practices.
