Sales Executive Position
We are seeking a motivated and experienced sales professional to drive growth in international freight forwarding.
This role requires identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with clients, and achieving sales targets through proactive lead generation and strong communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish customer relationships and generate new business opportunities by understanding client supply chain needs and developing tailored proposals.
- Promote our range of services, including Ocean Import/Export, Air Import/Export, and Trucking, to prospective customers.
- Prepare quotes and bid proposals for presentation to clients.
- Collaborate with management to achieve sales targets and objectives.
- Analyze market trends and competitive rate actions to inform strategic decisions.
- Foster excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns in a timely manner.
- Maintain regular communication with the Operations team and overseas offices to ensure seamless logistics operations.
- A minimum of 3+ years of experience in International freight forwarding sales or general sales is required.
- The successful candidate must have in-depth knowledge of freight forwarding operations in ocean and air transportation.
- An existing client base is essential for driving sales growth.
- The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with exceptional communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
- They must possess a client-focused mindset, with a strong ability to build and maintain client relationships.
- Excellent negotiation and closing skills, along with a proven track record of selling logistics services, are necessary for success.
- The successful candidate will be self-motivated and driven to achieve sales goals, exceling in decision-making and problem-solving.
- Exceptional analytical skills are required to navigate complex logistics operations.
