Job Role

This role will be responsible for identifying and targeting potential shippers, understanding their unique needs, and presenting our services as the optimal solution.

Main Responsibilities

  • Foster long-term relationships with decision-makers and key stakeholders within shipper organizations.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the shipping and freight brokerage market.
  • Utilize various sales tools, databases, and cold-calling techniques to generate new business leads.

Negotiation & Closing Deals

  • Develop customized proposals and pricing models that meet the needs of potential clients.
  • Negotiate terms, close sales, and onboard new clients successfully.
  • Collaborate with internal teams for seamless implementation of services for new clients.

Performance Tracking & Reporting

  • Meet and exceed sales targets and performance metrics.
  • Regularly update CRM systems with prospect and client information, sales activities, and progress.
  • Provide regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and competitor activity.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in sales, preferably in logistics, freight, or transportation industry.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and be self-motivated.
  • Experience with CRM software and sales tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
