Merchandising Specialist

This is a critical position that oversees the entire merchandising process from product development to final shipment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Product development, approvals, and order execution coordination with buyers.
- Sampling process management, including proto, fit, size set, and pre-production samples.
- Collaboration with sourcing, production, and quality teams to ensure timely order execution.
- Raw material procurement (fabrics, trims, accessories) monitoring and availability assurance as per production timelines.
- Preparation and follow-up on Time & Action (T&A) plans to meet shipment deadlines.
- Assistance in costing, price negotiation, and order confirmation with buyers and suppliers.
- Order status meetings conductance and regular progress reports preparation for management.
- Buyer compliance, quality standards, and documentation adherence assurance.
- Bachelor's degree in Textile, Fashion, Business, or related field.
- 3–5 years of relevant experience (for entry/mid-level roles).
- Strong knowledge of fabrics, trims, and garment manufacturing processes.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and ERP systems.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple orders at once.
