Senior Clinical Information Leader Position

We are seeking an experienced and visionary Senior Clinical Information Leader to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in clinical informatics, leadership, and information technology management.

In this role, you will be responsible for providing strategic leadership on electronic health record systems impact and implementation. This includes evaluating the overall impact of IT services on clinical processes, promoting the use of technology, improving the quality of care and services delivered to patients, and creating efficiencies for clinicians.

You will also ensure effective user support and education for EHR systems adoption, including continuous education, involvement, and support of physicians, nurses, and other health professionals' staff in EHR implementation and use.

Furthermore, you will drive continuous improvement of quality and impact of medical information systems and data by participating in periodic quality improvement and patient safety committees and collaborating with clinical leadership, EHR, and IT teams to design and implement systems that support patient care and quality initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Provide strategic leadership on EHR systems impact and implementation
  2. Ensure effective user support and education for EHR systems adoption
  3. Drive continuous improvement of quality and impact of medical information systems and data
Requirements:
  • MBBS/MScN degree or equivalent with an additional Master's degree in Healthcare Administration, Clinical Informatics, or Computer Science
  • Certification in Clinical Informatics is preferred
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in clinical settings, with a minimum 3 years' experience in leadership, information technology management, or clinical informatics
  • Widespread knowledge and practical experience with electronic health information systems
