Job Overview

Role Summary: We are seeking a clinical leader to oversee the design and implementation of integrated treatment strategies for drug-resistant tuberculosis (DR-TB) in Sindh, Pakistan.

Location: Karachi, Pakistan

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development of person-centered care models for DR-TB patients, ensuring alignment with WHO guidelines.
  • Provide technical leadership on case management of complex DR-TB cases, integrating treatment regimens with optimized approaches.
  • Oversee the clinical rollout and ensure fidelity to protocolized care pathways, including baseline assessments and treatment adherence interventions.
  • Supervise a multidisciplinary clinical team to ensure timely diagnosis, linkage to care, and clinical follow-up.
  • Develop and manage a Respiratory Disease Expert Panel to effectively monitor and manage complex conditions.
Requirements
  • MBBS with at least 3–5 years of clinical experience
  • Master's degree in Public Health or a closely related discipline (preferred)
Preferred Qualifications
  • Minimum 5+ years in a supervisory or clinical management role, leading multidisciplinary teams
  • Proven experience working in rural or resource-constrained environments, with demonstrated expertise in clinical quality assurance
Desirable Skills
  • Advanced knowledge of DR-TB diagnosis and treatment regimens
  • Strong clinical acumen in managing complicated TB patients
  • Experience in case-based discussion forums and expert panels
  • Effective leadership and capacity-building skills in low-resource settings
