Senior Clinical Unit Leader

This role involves leading a team of skilled nursing professionals to deliver high-quality patient care in assigned units. It requires implementing safety and infection control practices, effectively utilizing electronic medical records, and completing pre and post-requisites for procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Directly supervise nurses to provide exceptional patient care in designated units.
  • Implement evidence-based International Patient Safety Goals and Infection Control practices to ensure a safe environment.
  • Guarantee seamless EMR utilization by nursing staff in assigned units.
  • Regularly visit patients to assess care quality and gather feedback, addressing concerns promptly.
  • Complete necessary pre and post-requisites for specialized procedures as per orders.
  • Swiftly report medication incidents and adverse effects to the Section Head and Clinicians.
  • Conduct regular internal checks on medication and supplies in assigned areas.
  • Collaborate with Section Head Clinical Nursing and NES to design and implement patient education materials.
  • Participate in audits and address non-conformities efficiently.
Qualifications and Experience:
  1. Bachelor's degree in Nursing (Master's preferred) with 5-6 years of clinical experience, including 2-3 years in a supervisory role.
  2. Valid PNC registration is mandatory.
  3. Preferably holds BLS, ACLS, and ECG certificates.
  4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  5. Able to handle challenging situations professionally.
  6. Fitness to work under time constraints.
  7. Capacity to multitask and work independently.
