Clarion Developer Role

We are seeking an experienced Clarion developer to join our team. As a key contributor, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining and enhancing applications using the Clarion programming language.

The ideal candidate will have proficiency in Clarion programming language, 3+ years of software development experience preferably in Clarion, and experience with Clarion IDE and templates. A strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming principles and experience with SQL databases such as MS SQL Server or MySQL is also required.

About the Position
  • Develop, maintain and enhance applications
  • Collaborate with teams to understand project requirements and deliver solutions
  • Troubleshoot, debug and resolve application issues promptly
  • Participate in code reviews and ensure coding standards are followed
  • Optimize application performance and scalability
  • Maintain technical documentation
  • Integrate Clarion applications with databases, APIs and third-party services
  • Provide technical support and guidance to users and team members
Requirements
  • Proficiency in Clarion programming language
  • 3+ years of software development experience preferably in Clarion
  • Experience with Clarion IDE and templates
  • Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming principles
  • Experience with SQL databases such as MS SQL Server or MySQL
  • Knowledge of API integration and third-party services
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently and in teams
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Windows application development
  • Knowledge of other programming languages like .NET, C# or Delphi
  • Experience with legacy system migration or modernization
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies
