Supply Chain Manager

The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for overseeing and directing supply chain personnel in the procurement, receipt, disbursement, and inventory control of materials to ensure timely delivery of customer orders while maintaining assigned inventory levels.

Manages current and future demand requirements with manufacturers and suppliers to ensure completion of customer requirements.

Ensures the most economical movement of materials through the supply chain to achieve cost-effective logistics practices and inventory levels while meeting customer delivery requirements.

Manages plant purchasing activities for items procured locally to complement centrally purchased items. Analyzes data, including enterprise requirements planning information, and prepares consolidated managerial reports as needed to facilitate and recommend actions to ensure optimal supply chain execution.

Manages material cost and schedule impact of proposed engineering changes, taking necessary actions to ensure successful implementation and incorporation of approved engineering releases.

Ensures quality of shipping documentation to meet corporate financial and customer audit requirements.

Develops and manages physical inventory audit methodologies that meet corporate, governmental, and customer specifications.

Maintains and updates all related records, files, and documents, keeping all related SOPs up-to-date on a regular basis.
