Supply Chain Management Position

1. Identifying and establishing relationships with suppliers is a key aspect of this role.

2. Conducting data analyses, cost assessments, and value chain evaluations to optimize supply chain performance.

3. Developing import strategies product wise to meet business objectives.

4. Overseeing supply chain operations including budget planning, purchasing, inventory management, distribution, logistics, and quality control.

5. Analyzing and recommending improvements to productivity, quality, and efficiency of supply chain processes.

6. Creating integrated systems among operations, purchasing, inventory management, distribution, and logistics.

7. Identifying tools necessary for planning and forecasting systems implementation.

8. Establishing key performance metrics and benchmarks for supply chain planning and forecasting.

9. Regularly measuring performance against goals and presenting results to senior management.

10. Leading the development and execution of annual savings plans to reduce purchasing costs year-over-year.

Job Requirements

Familiarity with various concepts, practices, and procedures in the field. Understanding of integrated supply chain and logistic principles. Proficiency in ERP software.

Required Skills: Training skills, numeracy, IT skills, interpersonal and negotiation skills, organizational and planning skills, self-motivation, results-oriented, adaptability.

Special Requirement: Six Sigma Green Belt certification.
