We are seeking a Supply Chain Manager to oversee the procurement and importation of materials for our operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Negotiate with foreign and local vendors to secure optimal pricing and delivery schedules for materials and parts.
  2. Collaborate with the engineering department to identify opportunities for cost reduction through simplification, standardization, and import substitution.
  3. Review and finalize all procurement documents, ensuring timely deliveries from suppliers.
  4. Monitor supplier performance to assess their ability to meet quality and delivery requirements, and develop action plans for continuous improvement.
  5. Build strategic alliances with stakeholders, including suppliers and vendors.
  6. Discover profitable suppliers and establish business partnerships.
  7. Ensure timely clearance of imported goods/material after arrival, coordinating with finance and clearing agents as needed.
  8. Manage import-related matters, handle correspondence, and arrange LCs and freight for import shipments.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in supply chain management, preferably in the automotive sector.
  • Hands-on experience with import handling and excellent communication skills.
