, Job Description:

The role of a network configuration specialist is to oversee the operation and maintenance of core network entities nationwide, ensuring end-to-end responsibility for services and nodes. The specialist will perform routine tasks and health checks to maintain system performance and availability.

The specialist must ensure 99.999% core network availability from various perspectives, including platforms, services, applications, configuration, and network interfaces. This includes performing and coordinating all maintenance activities, expansions, and service assurance with national operators as per SOPs and requirements.

The specialist must also take preventive and corrective measures for hardware and software to maintain required availability while adhering to prevailing processes and SOPs. Additionally, they will troubleshoot and analyze reported issues, taking necessary improvement measures by coordinating with other departments, teams, vendors, and stakeholders.

, Required Skills:
  • Minimum Bachelor of Engineering (Electronics/Electrical/Telecom/Computer) or equivalent degree
  • Expert knowledge and experience in core systems used in mobile telephony, including MSC/MGW, STP/DRA, HSS, IMS, and EIR etc.
  • Expertise in all signaling protocols, standards, and associated flows
  • Proficiency in signaling and routing mechanisms at all network levels
  • Expert knowledge and practical experience in hardware and software of core network platforms
