About the Role

This leadership position requires a seasoned professional to drive the distribution region's performance, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and regulatory requirements. The successful candidate will lead a team responsible for maintaining the distribution network, providing safe and reliable gas supply to customers.

  • Responsibilities:
  • Strategically direct the distribution region's operations to achieve optimal results.
  • Collaborate with sub-regional or zonal heads to ensure effective task delegation and progress monitoring.
  • Oversee the implementation of a comprehensive distribution O&M plan, including regulator inspection, corrosion control, and leak detection.
  • Foster a culture of customer-centricity, promoting excellent service and efficient billing practices.
  • Develop and maintain technical expertise within the region, ensuring staff are trained and competent in their roles.
  • Manage and mitigate risks associated with the distribution pipeline, maintaining emergency response plans and conducting regular threat assessments.
  • Maintain high levels of health, safety, environment, and quality assurance across the region, adhering to international ISO standards.
  • Collaborate with zones to identify opportunities for growth, develop project proposals, and implement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
