Job Overview:

The organization is seeking a seasoned professional to oversee the development and execution of sales and pricing strategies for lubricants across various channels.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Design category-driven lubricant strategies
  • Choose effective channels to drive category-driven strategies
  • Implement category and channel plans to achieve volume, profitability, market coverage, and reach objectives
  • Analyze industry data, market opportunities, consumer insights, and key learnings to modify category plans as needed
  • Collaborate with sales, trade marketing, sales coordinators, brands, supply chains, and production teams to implement strategies across categories and channels
  • Execute portfolio strategies and propose future product launches or changes
  • Develop sales and channel monitoring mechanisms and systems
  • Generate reports, trackers, and spreadsheets for management and sales teams
  • Monitor margins and develop frameworks for pricing and discounting
  • Develop and streamline forecasting for product demand to ensure inventory sustainability
  • Monitor external price drivers, customer returns on price discounts, and present findings and suggestions to management
  • Conduct price-related research and customer surveys to understand price drivers, brand equity, and price elasticity
  • Drive strategic price positioning of categories according to business and brand plans

Requirements:

  • Excellent leadership, team management, conflict resolution, decision-making, strategic thinking, time management, presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in tools like Excel and PowerPoint
  • Able to influence and coordinate with different stakeholders
  • Familiarity with SAP
  • Minimum 16 years of education and 6-8 years of professional experience in a related field
