Job Title: Electrical Protection Systems Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Electrical Protection Systems Specialist to join our team. This is a long-term opportunity for someone passionate about working on real-world projects in substation protection, relay coordination, and electrical system analysis.

The position is fully remote, offering a chance to work and learn from home with direct mentorship.

To succeed in this role, you should have a solid understanding of power system protection fundamentals, including knowledge of protection relays, fault analysis, and electrical system theory.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the design and implementation of protection systems for substation applications
  • Support in preparing technical documentation, schematics, and reports for protection-related projects
  • Leverage industry-standard software tools (e.g., ETAP, PowerFactory, PSCAD) to analyze and simulate electrical system behavior
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement protection strategies for electrical systems
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in protection technologies and industry standards (e.g., IEEE, IEC)

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (recent graduate preferred)
  • Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills and self-discipline for remote work
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, and basic drawing tools (AutoCAD or similar)
