Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Billing Specialist to play a vital role in ensuring the timely and accurate processing of patient claims. This position requires excellent attention to detail, strong communication skills, and proficiency in medical billing software applications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process and manage third-party patient claims electronically.
  • Resolve rejections and denied claims in a timely manner.
  • Reconcile daily cash receipts from insurance carriers.
  • Enter pertinent patient information/details into our Health Center database accurately.
  • Utilize problem-solving skills to follow up on commercial insurance, Medicare, and Medicaid denials.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in medical billing.
  • Strong understanding of billing software applications.
  • Preferred one year of previous healthcare-related billing experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
