Technical Service Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Technical Service Engineer to provide technical support and service to our customers. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues to ensure optimal customer network performance.

This role involves interacting with various stakeholders, including customer technical staff, operations managers, and other teams within the organization. You will also need to communicate effectively with internal and external parties to resolve technical issues and implement solutions.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in telecom and datacom, covering hardware, software, and network knowledge. Additionally, they will possess excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Handle customer technical issues through dedicated support, 24x7 based on roster
  • Lead and resolve complex technical issues, conducting root cause analysis to identify and implement effective solutions
  • Maintain accurate knowledge management systems to ensure up-to-date technical information
  • Manage software updates and configurations on Ericsson Core nodes
  • Drive collaborative review meetings with senior leaders to discuss technical progress and challenges
  • Perform proactive maintenance to prevent technical issues and optimize network performance


Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in technical service engineering, preferably in the telecom industry
  • Domain expertise in CS Core domains, including CSCF, MTAS, SBG/BGF, MSC-S, M-MGW, STP/IP-STP, UDM, CUDB, HSS-FE, HLR-FE, EIR-FE, Mobile Call flows, and Protocols (MAP, SCCP, SIP, Diameter, LDAP)
  • Strong understanding of Cloud/Virtualization concepts and VNF/CNF Management
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Effective communication and presentation skills
