Lead Data Scientist - Machine Learning Expert

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Lead Data Scientist to lead our machine learning efforts in New York City.

About the Role:

This role involves developing and implementing advanced machine learning models to drive business outcomes across various asset classes, including equities, digital assets, and macro.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and maintain complex machine learning models using Python and other ML/AI tools.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data science insights into our broader investment processes.
  3. Stay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in machine learning and deep learning.
  4. Mentor junior data scientists and provide guidance on best practices.
  5. Communicate technical ideas and results to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong leadership and mentorship skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, Finance, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • 5+ years of experience in data science, preferably with a focus on machine learning.
  • Demonstrated expertise in machine learning, deep learning, and natural language processing.
