Data Scientist - Asset Class Specialist

We are looking for an experienced and skilled Data Scientist to join our team in New York City.

About the Role:

This role involves working closely with our CIO and engineering team to develop and implement data-driven strategies across various asset classes, including equities, digital assets, and macro.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and maintain complex data models using Python and other ML/AI tools.
  2. Analyze and interpret large datasets to identify trends and patterns.
  3. Create visualizations and reports to communicate findings to stakeholders.
  4. Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate data science insights into our broader investment processes.
  5. Stay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in data science and machine learning.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively.
  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, Finance, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • 3-5 years of experience in data science, preferably with a focus on financial markets.
  • Demonstrated expertise in data modeling, machine learning, and data visualization.
