Import Manager

The primary objective of an import manager is to oversee the timely arrival of products and commodities at their destinations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze technical requirements for managing goods and commodities.
  • Negotiate with vendors for product delivery and verify necessary documents.
  • Process federal and administrative requirements, ensuring compliance with regulations.
  • Administer the transfer of goods according to client specifications and organizational targets.
  • Communicate with third-party vendors and compile cash transactions.
  • Supervise workers in the import section, handle client interactions, and strategize import activities.
  • Coordinate with providers and stock list programmers to ensure timely arrivals.
  • Monitor freight charges, create agreements, and approve modifications as needed.
  • Assist with trade good quotes, execute cargo reservations, and oversee trade safety measures.
  • Investigate organizational sections, stay updated on customs regulations, and comply with sectional modulations.
Job Requirements

Qualifications and Skills Required

A bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, economics, or a related field is required. A master's degree would be advantageous for high positions and attractive job opportunities.

Several years of expertise in the same field would be beneficial. Additional skills such as interaction and organization skills, language proficiency, and geographical and focusing abilities would also be advantageous.

The ideal candidate should be able to work effectively in a multicultural environment and adapt to team dynamics.
