Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor database performance, identify bottlenecks, and optimize database settings for optimal performance.
  • Develop and implement backup and recovery strategies to ensure data availability and recoverability.
  • Implement security measures, manage user access, and ensure compliance with security policies.
  • Perform database upgrades, apply patches, and maintain the database environment.
  • Investigate and resolve database-related issues, including performance problems and security breaches.
