Job Title: Public Outreach Specialist

The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and implementing a comprehensive outreach strategy to promote the organization's mission and goals.

  1. Develop high-quality content, including press releases, media kits, and social media posts, to engage with key stakeholders and promote the organization's work.
  2. Conduct research on public health topics as needed to inform outreach efforts and develop targeted communication materials.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement outreach initiatives that align with organizational objectives.
  4. Represent the organization at external events, meetings, and conferences to build relationships and promote the organization's mission.
  5. Design engaging presentations to showcase the organization's work and achievements.
  6. Support the development of strategic partnerships with key stakeholders to amplify the organization's reach and impact.

Key Requirements:

  • Masters degree in Communications, Public Health, or related field from a reputable institution.
  • 2-3 years of experience in a similar capacity, preferably in a non-profit or advocacy setting.
  • Excellent writing, verbal, and interpersonal skills, with ability to communicate complex information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to think strategically and make informed decisions.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in computer software, including Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite.

Working Conditions:

  • Based in Islamabad with minimal travel requirements (less than 10%).
  • 1-year contract with potential for extension based on performance and funding availability.
  • Reports to National Coordinator.
