Public Engagement Director Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to assume the position of Public Engagement Director at our organization.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the development and execution of multimedia campaigns to raise public awareness about our services and initiatives.

This role requires strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills, with a proven track record of successful campaign management and media relations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Campaign Development: Develop and execute multimedia campaigns to raise public awareness about our services and initiatives.
  • Stakeholder Management: Identify key stakeholders and target audiences; manage outreach efforts to ensure effective communication and engagement.
  • Communication Training: Provide communication and media training to employees, preparing them for media interactions and interviews.
  • Public Consultations: Facilitate public consultations, online and physical meetings, surveys, and focus groups to gather valuable feedback on policies and projects.
  • Community Outreach: Collaborate with community groups, NGOs, government agencies, and media personnel to enhance our outreach and engagement efforts.
  • Digital Presence: Manage digital platforms, including social media, to foster public interaction and maintain a positive online presence.
  • Media Relations: Draft press releases, manage media relations, and act as our spokesperson, ensuring timely and accurate communication with the public.
  • Impact Assessment: Monitor and assess the impact of public engagement efforts, providing regular reports and actionable insights to leadership.
Requirements:
  • Educational Background: 16 Years Education (Bachelor's 4 Years OR Bachelor's 2 Years & Master's 2 Years) in Mass Communication, Marketing, Business Administration, Public Administration, or equivalent from a recognized university.
  • Experience: Minimum 10 years of post-qualification experience in public relations, community engagement, media planning, and campaign management at a senior level.
Benefits:
  • Contract Period: Selected candidate will be hired initially for a contract period of 5 years (extendable if required).
  • Selection Process: Only shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview. Candidate shall be disqualified if false information is provided.
  • Relaxation in Age: 5 years' relaxation in age is already included in the above age limit.
  • Medical Fitness and Character Certificates: Selected candidate shall provide Medical Fitness and Character Certificates.
  • No Objection Certificate (NOC): Employees serving in Government/Semi-Government departments must provide/attach No Objection Certificate (NOC) at the time of submission of application.
  • Attestation of Degrees: Attested degrees from Higher Education Commission (HEC) must be provided at the time of the interview. In case of a foreign degree, equivalency from HEC will also be submitted.
