Job Overview

This role is responsible for managing interactions with key government officials, policy makers, and regulators in Pakistan. The position involves developing and maintaining relationships with government authorities and other external stakeholders to support the company's strategic objectives and policy agenda.

">Key Responsibilities
  • Develop an effective government affairs strategy in Pakistan.
  • Lead stakeholder relationship building with governments, businesses, and non-governmental organizations at all levels.
  • Align government affairs plans with the company's strategic business objectives.
  • Establish and maintain long-term relations with governments and other external stakeholders.
  • Monitor the regulatory environment in Pakistan and make timely interventions to protect commercial interests.
  • Identify opportunities to support business development programs and initiatives.
  • Manage day-to-day government affairs operations and represent the company at relevant forums.
  • Optimize meeting targets and government affairs objectives by introducing best practices.
  • Build internal relationships and enhance understanding of the function within the company.
">Required Skills and Qualifications
  • General understanding of the digital payments industry and its economic impact.
  • Proven track record and experience in stakeholder relations strategies.
  • In-depth knowledge of the local business and political environments in Pakistan.
  • Political and business acumen.
  • Ability to think creatively and innovatively.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Computer literacy.
